Weather in the Northern Sporades |
The weather station is located on Skiathos, but because Alonissos is within the same island chain it is reasonable to expect that whatever is befalling Skiathos will also be prevailing on Alonissos. We have provided access to fifteen different weather sites on the Internet which present the information in a different format. Often the weather they forecast is different so take a sample and either believe the consensus or just be prepared for the best and the worst. Click any icon to access the weather. |

Poseidon is a Greek weather site run by the National Center for Marine Research (NCMR) which provides weather information across Greece in terms of surface wind, rainfall, snowfall, cloudiness, air temperature, dust load, fog and atmospheric pressure. The surface wind information is a good indicator as to whether the wind is strong enough to stop the flying dolphins running and the ferries docking. |
