| There are a number of bars and tavernas behind Rousoum Yialos beach and two were open during the winter of 2007 - 2008. Our observations may be useful if you have limited time on Alonissos to eat. As always, the best option is to try eating at all the tavernas and forming your own opinions. |
| Nostos | English spoken. Open winter 2007 - 2008. Third along from the road end of the beach. Small and cozy. Limited menu of mainly pizzas, pasta and crepes. Try anything on the menu. |
| O Yialos | English spoken. Closed out of season. First taverna as you walk down the steps from Patitiri. Overlooks the sea. Limited menu of mainly Greek dishes and fresh seafood. Ask what seafood is fresh. |
| Remezzo | English spoken. Open winter 2007 - 2008. First taverna as you drive down the road to the jetty. Overlooks the sea. Limited menu of home cooked food and different pasta dishes. Check the board for specials. |
| Votsalo | English spoken. Closed out of season. Second taverna as you drive down the road to the jetty. Overlooks the sea. Traditional menu and fresh fish. Check the board for availability. |
