| Milena was built in 1970 for the Diamond Ferry company of Japan by Hayashikane Shipbuilding and Engineering Company at Shimonoseki, Japan and named the Ferry Gold. Milena operated between Kobe, Matsuyama and Oita with her sister ship the Ferry Pearl, later to also be sold to GA ferries and named Daliana. She was sold to GA ferries in 1988 and after a spell on the Greece - Italy line from 1989 - 1993, she has served the Greek islands ever since. |
