Tavernas at Megalos Mourtias Beach |
| There are three tavernas at Megalos Mourtias beach and all were open in the summer of 2008. This is a wonderfully relaxing place to be during the summer and there is no excuse for leaving quickly with good food served at the local tavernas. As always, the best option is to try eating at all the tavernas and forming your own opinions. |

English spoken. Closed out of season. First taverna on the right as you approach the beach. Limited menu with traditional Greek dishes available. One of the marine park boats stops here for lunch in the early afternoon. Very peaceful setting under the olive trees. |
| Megalos Mourtias |
Taverna run by Yianni and Ria Good English spoken. Closed out of season. Taverna on left at end of main road through car park. Wide menu with specials in height of season including fresh fish. Fish inside in draws under counter and is weighed and priced before cooking. Lovely view from veranda overlooking the beach and sea. |
| Meltemi | Good English spoken. Closed out of season. Taverna on right at end of main road. More limited choices but try anything from the menu. Lovely view from veranda overlooking the beach and sea. |
