Bus Terminus B off Liossion Street, Athens |
|
Bus Terminus B is approximately 3 miles north of Omonia Square and can be accessed by:
If you take a taxi from Syntagma Square or Monastiraki station the first bit of the journey is a little around the houses, but when the taxi enters Liossion Street the road is very straight. Liossion street is not one of the nicest in Athens, so it can be a bit disconcerting when you head off the main road into small side turnings which you could never believe leads to one of Athen's main bus stations. When you arrive at Bus Terminus B go into the main hall area. There is a snack bar area off to one side and the ticket hall off to the opposite side. For the Lamia bus buy a single ticket from the last teller on the right hand side as you walk into the ticket hall area. Don't buy a return because its better to return on the Alkyon Travel private bus from Agios Konstantinos. If you need to toilets they are located off the front waiting room directly behind the newspaper kiosk. Below is a sensitive map of Bus Terminus B. Click the cameras on the map to see pictures of the entrance from the taxi drop area and the buses in the stands. |

The Lamia bus departs from the third stand in front of the building and if you are not sure which bus it is, ask someone. The bus will be run by the KTEL Fthiotitha group. Look for the following Greek words to recognise the bus and the destination.
