E95 Bus to Syntagma Square Athens from Athens Airport

If you want to get into the centre of Athens by bus then take the E95 from the airport to Syntagma Square.  The bus stops in the main road outside the National Park and close to the Parliament Building.  If you are heading straight to Agios Konstantinos you can hail a cab to Bus Station B.  To catch the bus, exit the airport terminal building at doors 4-5 and go to the first bus stop which services both the E94 and E95 buses towards Athens.  If there are any problems with the E95 bus then take the E94 to Ethniki Amina metro station and take the metro into the centre of Athens.

The E95 runs 24 hours a day between the airport and Syntagma Square.  The fare is 3.20 euro and the journey can take up to an hour.  The ticket can be bought from the driver and can be used on all buses, trolleys and the metro in Athens for 24 hours from the time of purchase.  Don't forget that the ticket needs validating by inserting it into the orange box in the bus.  Failure to do this could lead to a fine if an inspector comes onto the bus.

For the return journey to Athens Airport you catch the E95 bus from the same stop as you got off the bus, near to the Parliament Building at the edge of the National Park.
