Harbour Area at Agios Konstantinos |
|
| After about 1 hour travel from Athens the coach has a comfort stop at Cafe 90, which is 90 km from Athens. After leaving Cafe 90 the bus heads north along the motorway and turns off towards Agios Konstantinos. During this time you notice the view from the right side of the bus becomes more coastal with water and less agricultural. Arriving at Ag. Konstantinos the bus comes over the brow of a hill and you can see the town buildings and harbour in the distance. The KTEL bus leaves the National Road and stops in a slip road outside the KTEL office while the Alkyon private bus turns on to the port area. |

| If you are returning on the KTEL bus it is advisable to check your return bus time to Athens on the board at the back of the office. A better alternative for the return journey is the private Alkyon bus which costs the same for a single ticket as the KTEL bus but meets the arriving flying dolphin or catamaran on the port area. Journey times are the same but the KTEL bus heads for Bus Station B off Liossion Street, north of Omonia Square while the Alkyon bus goes to Kannigos Square, which is 5 minutes walk from Omonia metro station. |
